With all the rave and influence in the world of fragrance, we introduce a newfound favorite, gourmands. What exactly is a gourmand? A fragrance that is emulates the characteristics of something edible, usually something sweet and decadent. We often find these ingredients comforting, reminiscent, and even nostalgic. Baked goods are the perfect example.
When To Wear a Gourmand Fragrance
Gourmands are the perfect Fall and Winter fragrance, but a gourmand can be worn throughout any season depending on the notes. For example, coconut is an extremely sought-after fragrance in the summer, but fragrances that offer more depth such as clove work perfectly in winter. A good rule of thumb is when a fragrance is in season or at it's ripest we find the perfect time As gourmands usually tend to be complex fragrances, layering is not usually necessary, offering a seductive and demure mystic or presence. Perfect for a date night, cocktail hour, or a special occasion.
